Sol RO3 is free to play. Every account is approved by hand through our Discord, where you also find the server address and the install guide.
How it works
Join the Discord
Use the button on this page. You first see only the welcome channels: #welcome with the rules, #how-to-join and #apply.
Apply in #apply
Start a post with the pinned template. Choose your account name: letters and numbers, no spaces. Names are case-sensitive.
Wait for approval
An admin approves your name in the game server and gives you the Player role. The server channels appear, including the address.
Install and log in
Follow #install-guide. Your first login with the approved name creates the account, and the password you type becomes your password.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes. Playing costs nothing, and nothing in the game is sold. Supporting the server is optional and only unlocks a few cosmetics.
Why do I need approval?
It keeps the server small and private: no bots, no gold sellers, and nobody plays without a name an admin approved.
Where is the server address?
In the Discord, visible once you are approved. Please do not share it: an account still needs an approved name, but we would like to keep it quiet.
What do I need?
A Windows PC. The installer can download the Ragnarok Online 3 game files for you (about 24 GB) or use a copy you already have.
Will I lose my characters?
No. Characters live in the server database and are backed up every day. New builds never wipe them.
I forgot my password.
Ask in #help. An admin resets it, and your next login sets a new one.
